The Season of Giving

It’s that time of year…
From the view in our New York City headquarters, we see the tell tale signs. Temperatures are dropping. Lights are gleaming. Credit cards are swiping. You guessed it, the holidays are upon us.

In the midst of all the abundance of merry shopping, it’s important to take a moment and remember what the holidays are really about. This is the time of year to look around and appreciate each other. It is the time of year where people are not hesitant to help one another. It is the season of giving.

In the spirit of the holidays, we wanted to share a list of charities we have had the pleasure to partner with this year. It is important to keep the kindness, awareness, and love spreading year round. So, please continue to keep these organizations in your heart as we head into an exciting 2017!

Dancers Against Cancer

To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pastry and retail partners Weissman’s Designs for Dance, Dancewear Solutions, Team Cheer and Laylas joined forces to raise awareness and funds for Dancers Against Cancer.  For every Pop Tart Glitter in Fuchsia sold, a $5 donation was made to DAC. Together,  we were able to raise more than $1,300 to support the lives and needs of dancers affected by cancer.

The goal of this event was to not only push for environmental justice, but to provide support to the Flint community by raising money and supplies for the Flint Community.
